Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Stephanie plays an important part as a full time counselor at Pinnacle Behavioral Health. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Russell Sage College and has a master’s degree from St. Rose College. Her specialties include Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse, Addictions, Dual Diagnoses, Women’s Issues, LGBTQ Issues, CBT, REBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Stephanie in her own words: “When I first meet with a clients, I am often told that I am “not what they expected." I sincerely take this as a compliment. My clinical approach is firmly rooted in the concepts of self-efficiency, empowerment, and self-acceptance. There is no "normal" and no one needs "fixing". It is in learning to make meaning for ourselves that we find our place in the world. There is nothing I enjoy more than helping people find their place."
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, Baking, Travel, Psychopharmacology, Evolutionary Psychology, World+ US History, Cultural Anthropology, Modern Art, College Basketball, and Social Justice Issues.
